Hi Dennis, Would you please check if your host has a name? If not, would you please assign a name to your host?
You can assign a name by doing the following, 1. Add an entry such like this in the /etc/host for your host. $yourIP $hostname 2. Run hostname command to assign the name $hostname to the system. 3. Run ping $hostname to verify. Then run Java Control Panel to set the network as direct connection and try again? If your host has a name, do this step directly.
