I was thinking something along the lines of:
http://www.eclipse.org/downloads/distros.php
and
http://www.eclipse.org/downloads/

Notice that in the first link there's little distinction amongst the
distributions except for what's in their description.  The list is even
rotated (ostensibly to promote "fairness").

Yes, Eclipse ain't an OS, but to my mind, it at least approaches the
complexity of distribution we're talking about.

And FWIW, Eclipse is not my IDE/platform of choice.  :)
