I'd like to downplay the likelihood that anything drastic will happen. While our options for directly addressing the problem are limited, there's always diplomacy and negotiation. I've proposed a position for the OGB to take, I will move to approve this position at next week's meeting, and I expect that motion to pass. Comments on this list from board members and others have yielded what I think is fair to call rough consensus on what should happen *soon*. That's as opposed to the broader long-term questions for which answers will require dialogue and engagement with Sun, the Indiana project team, other distributors, and indeed most of our community. No one is suggesting that we abandon that effort or that there will not be an opportunity to be heard for those who support the Indiana team's desire to remold the community around their distribution. So at this point, I think the right course of action is for us to relax and wait for the right things to happen. I don't know about you, but after the past few days I wouldn't mind spending a day getting work done. -- Keith M Wesolowski "Sir, we're surrounded!"
