The decision cones down to  "do you value one group more, or should they
be valued equally?"
There's room for both SXCE and whatever Indiana mutates into, but the
availability of both must be assured.

To me, there seems to be a common fallacy with the assumption that
revenue automagically appears with a new user.  Both Solaris and
OpenSolaris have been free of charge to download and use. It's only when
hardware and/or services are purchased and a check is written, is there
actual revenue.  Someone from Sun told me a few years ago (ca. 2000 or
so) that it cost Sun $17.00 per download, I don't recall how many
successful downloads there were, but about the only money that flowed
was from Sun to it's ISP's.
