Fresh install of SXCE 85. Whenever i reboot or poweroff the system, my CIFS shares are gone and i must login as root and run: sharemgr start -P smb zfs
Not sure if this is related, but bug 6646629 (smbd does not pick up existing shares when restarted) was supposedly fixed in snv_83. Genunix also has an article about this which says: "CIFS shares on ZFS might be inaccessible to CIFS clients if you reboot the Solaris CIFS server. Run the following command to reshare the ZFS shares:" http://www.genunix.org/wiki/index.php/Solaris_CIFS_Service_Troubleshooting Can i somehow automate the startup of this? Or should this already be happening? This message posted from opensolaris.org _______________________________________________ opensolaris-discuss mailing list opensolaris-discuss@opensolaris.org
