Hi everyone, I have been playing with opensolaris nevada x86 for some time and want to build a home file server with it (for starters...).
Sometimes at shutdown, the boot archives are being recreated (takes 2 to 3 minutes). What triggers these recreations exactly ? Is there a way to force them at another time? My problem is that I want my UPS to shut down the server when powers goes out, but if the shutdown process take 3 minutes, it may not go through ...
