Is there any chance that it flashes something on the screen about not being able to mount root? If so, then you've run into the same problem that many others have run into. The updater is supposed to update the grub booter, but doesn't. You need to boot into the previous environment, mount up the new one and run $ROOT/boot/solaris/bin/update_grub. -- James Carlson, Solaris Networking <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sun Microsystems / 35 Network Drive 71.232W Vox +1 781 442 2084 MS UBUR02-212 / Burlington MA 01803-2757 42.496N Fax +1 781 442 1677 _______________________________________________ opensolaris-discuss mailing list opensolaris-discuss@opensolaris.org
