Hi, I have trouble with VMware's vmhgfs module (used for shared folders) loading on OpenSolaris 2008.05. It fails with "version mismatch" error. A discussion at VMware Fusion forums [1] revealed that this is fixed for VFS 5, but since OpenSolaris 2008.05 is based on Nevada build 86, which has VFS 4, I can't use the fix.
I had quite a trouble finding any information on VFS versions and even future OpenSolaris releases (sorry, I am new to OpenSolaris), so could I ask when will OpenSolaris have VFS version 5 so that VMware's vmhgfs module will load?
