for non-MP3 files (.MOV/QuickTime). It may be a reference to the audio content, but 'mplayer' plays them - audio and video - correctly. * I was able to test the Fluendo plugin based on the command string you gave: gst-launch filesrc location=my.mp3 ! flump3dec ! sunaudiosink The Fluendo plugin works fine now, there and in rhythmbox. - Thanks to all for the help.
