Then mount your iso or dvd i.e: mount -F hsfs -o ro `lofiadm -a /export/install/10u5_sol_i86pc.iso` /export/install/dvd then run /export/install/dvd/Solaris_11/Tools/Installers/liveupgrade20 lucreate -c sol8 -m /:/dev/dsk/c0d0s0:ufs -n 10u5 luupgrade -u -n 10u5 -s /export/install/dvd luactivate 10u5 then your lucreate and luupgrade using the man page examples.
