Not to be pedantic, but the sentence
"It is usually updated every other Friday and its release is announced
on the OpenSolaris announce forum."
is like saying "the train comes every hour or so". The latter doesn't
suffice for a train schedule.

SXCE builds follow ON builds, but the time in between seems dependent
upon fuzzy factors that people external to Sun have no knowledge about.
Abnormal delays on top of the "regular" delay only compound that
fuzziness. For instance, onnv_100 closed on 2008-10-06. That doesn't
really give any guidance or ETA as to an SXCE delivery other than
"sometime after October 6th".
