# pkgrm SUNWvr # to remove the possibly partial
installed new one
# pkgadd -d nvx117/Solaris_11/Product SUNWvr # to install the build
117 one

Are you asking if you can update from 2008.11 OpenSolaris to
build 117
SXCE? If so, you can't (well not in any easy, supported or
foolproof
way). You would need to reinstall.
That said, build 117 just hit the /dev repository so you could
update
from 2008.11 to 2010.02 b117 via pkg image-update.
