Thanks for the info. I tried the issued Opensolaris 2009.06 CD media with Fujitsu P8010 and Dell 15n/1545 I personally and it would not install. It installed ok on the HP s3123w desktop which I own.
In a few weeks at Fry's I can retry the Toshiba A605-P210 on display with the CD media.
