Well, pudding is served with a spoon. About all I can tell you is that this is 
red pudding. I don't have anything staked on their results. I'm not a big 
company, or an SMB, I'm just a person, not a thing on paper. I only work on 
other people's computers for them. I don't sign the checks buying them, and 
it's not my job to sell the products to the people who do pay money for other 
people's computers. What I do with computers that I own doesn't really matter 
to anyone besides myself.

So you see it's entirely rational for me to have perfect faith in Oracle's 
management, marketing, & sales people to make a market where anything I know 
about Sun products going forward is of value due to a job well done on their 
part. They bought Sun, value creation & competition for what they sell is up to 
those people.

In the meantime, you can find a lot of good help for OpenSolaris around this 
site, and that won't disappear. Granted, you might end up having to use 
different tableware at some point in the future, but that's not going to be 
anytime soon, or worth waiting on. In the meantime we have some nice bowls of 
OpenSolaris snacky-poofs to nom on with the spoon you've got.
