Why are all the options on the System->Preferences->Sound Sounds tab panel greyed out?
Help page says sounds have to be enabled. But where? I've looked at all the other preferences panels. Hints? OS 2008.11 running on AMD64 (Acer Ferrari) laptop. The sound system does work. Thunderbird does issue an audible notification beep with incoming mail, etc. -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
