[osol-help] Sound Preferences -> Sounds Tab All Greyed Out

don't know. Same issue here. Sound works great but no startup sound and all 
greyed out and a missing general tab *sic* don't know if this really matters. 
HW is a Tecra M3 w/ ICH Audio and SUNWaudiohd - afaik.
