I have the same issue with a Workstation (Supermicro). It does shutdown but
takes a while.
I have also seen the same on a Tyan Motherboard (S2892). While it was
previuosly shuting down pretty fast, it takes longer now.
For my Asus motherboard (P5KR) it's even worse: OpenSolaris and SXCE take ages
before the GUI comes up and it takes the same period to go in shut down.
The latest Solaris 10 even doesn't boot anymore on this motherboard.
So in my opinion there is definitely something wrong, since issues appear on
three completely different motherboards.
