Could this strange volume name explain the problems? In lshal output, are there reasonable strings for the property "volume.mount_point" and "volume.label" ? AFAIK there are no Solaris utilities that allow changing the pcfs volume label; you can try to set a nice volume label under Windows and see if fstyp / gnome automounting improves under Solaris when a reasonable volume label is present on that fat filesystem? -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
