Hi Just installed nv82 on this machine. Made a solaris partition (approx 96GB) and created few slices in it but left around 70GB unassigned. Then I created a "home" slice (~20GB) for use with zfs, but zfs says it overlaps with s2 (which I think is "overlap" anyways!).
Here is config: partition> pr Current partition table (original): Total disk cylinders available: 12552 + 2 (reserved cylinders) Part Tag Flag Cylinders Size Blocks 0 root wm 11022 - 12551 11.72GB (1530/0/0) 24579450 1 swap wu 3 - 525 4.01GB (523/0/0) 8401995 2 backup wm 0 - 12551 96.15GB (12552/0/0) 201647880 3 unassigned wm 9492 - 11021 11.72GB (1530/0/0) 24579450 4 home wm 7000 - 9491 19.09GB (2492/0/0) 40033980 5 unassigned wm 0 0 (0/0/0) 0 6 unassigned wm 0 0 (0/0/0) 0 7 unassigned wm 0 0 (0/0/0) 0 8 boot wu 0 - 0 7.84MB (1/0/0) 16065 9 alternates wu 1 - 2 15.69MB (2/0/0) 32130 partition> q # zpool create zp c1d0s4 invalid vdev specification use '-f' to override the following errors: /dev/dsk/c1d0s4 overlaps with /dev/dsk/c1d0s2 ??
