Funny thing after I installed the Windows... the PC automatically boots into 
it, but if I manually select from the BIOS which hdd to boot from it loads the 
Grub loader so no problem getting into SXDE, and yes, both are on the same 
physical hdd, just different partitions, though somehow I never got the Grub 
right to be able to boot into Windows from it, I tried all sorts of variations

        rootnoverify (hdX,X)
        chainloader +1
title Windows
        root (hdX,X)
        chainloader +1
title Windows
        chainloader (hdX,X) +1
Where the Xes stand for virtually everything that's possible from hd0,0 to 
hd1,3.

Another bizarre thing is that when I download .exe files somehow Solaris 
corrupts them, so I had to use Ubunto's live CD to get me the lan chip driver 
from the intranets.
