Hi,
I have intall opensolaris 2008.05. When it boot I have snv_86 version 64 bit.
I can't get my network card to work. It an on board card from intel. When I
run the network-device tool I get the following info : network driver not
install and the info at the bottom is :
Driver info : driver unknown
Instance -1
Attatch status detach
Hardware info : Vendor id : 0x8086
Device id : 0x10de
Class code : 0002000
devPath : /pci at 0,0/pci8086,0
The card is an intel 82567lm-3. It as on the card the ethernet and firewire
port.
When I run the program sddtool_22 on my windows xp system (dual boot), I get
the following for the nic card :
green botton e1000g (Under 32 and 64 bits) Intel 82567lm-3
At the top I can only select opensolaris 2008-11 or solaris 10 10/08. Not
2008-05.
I try rem_drv e1000g
I try add_drv e1000g. It say loaded but not attach.
Any idea on how to configure this.
