Thank for the info. I deinstall opensolaris. Install ubuntu 8.10. Since I already have Windows XP, I didn't find the way to install both ubuntu and opensolaris and windows xp at the same time.
Anyway that is other problem. After installing Ubuntu I install Virtualbox and install opensolaris on it. And voil?, the network e1000g is install and it work. The difference is that the opensolaris is in 32 bit mode not 64 as when I install it standalone. Here agains I never could find a way to either install it in 32 bit mode or start it in 32 bit mode. They should exist a way, no? I will reinstall opensolaris on it's own and try your command sys-unconfig and see what it does. Thank Andr? -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
