Since you're not at the point of posting the CD/DVD bootable images, a distinction or clarification on the download page should be made. I agree that ISO doesn't imply bootable, so changing the extension isn't the best approach, however the page is very ambiguous. At the very least, the following points should be very clear: 1. The OpenSolaris on SPARC iso's are not currently live nor bootable 2. OpenSolaris on SPARC requires a existing Auto Install server for the install 3. The SPARC hardware must be WAN boot capable to use Auto Install
An install guide would be nice as well, but I wouldn't necessarily consider it required. Likewise a supported (or even just suggested) hardware list. -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
