Hi... I want to settle this score once and for all. I just got a Toshiba NB205 and it came with an Atheros wireless card. Well, it refuses to connect to any wireless network I throw at it and it doesn't support Ad-hoc mode (a much needed piece of support as I want to tether my Palm Pre, which broadcasts an Ad-hoc WiFi network. Anyway, I am out shopping for a new half-length mini PCIe internal wireless adapter (preferrably 802.11n) and am wondering what the best make and model to get? Broadcom? Intel? Ralink? If anyone can give me advice here, that would be fantastic!
