I went through almost the same situation your going through now.  Right 
no, the only 802.11n supported wireless Mini PCI Card is the Intel 5300 
or 5100, which uses the iwh drive.  Unfortunately there are connection 
problems and dropout problems associated with these cards, supposedly 
the problem is being worked on.  Also the Intel 4965, 5100 and 5300 use 
three antennas.  So for my laptop I stuck with trying to find Minipcis 
with three antennas, I don't know any other manufactures with 3 antennas.

Maybe not a solution, but some food for thought.
