If you don't have bash, your installation of Solaris Express is
incomplete, which means you haven't followed the instructions (select
SUNWCall) for installing Solaris Express on a build machine.  So even
if you fix whatever's causing this failure you'll likely have others
later.

At this point you can reinstall and make sure to do a full
installation of SXCR, or you can follow the path I outlined earlier
for debugging this problem.
