The easiest way to stop the registration pop-ups is to not install them....;) Do custom install and remove the packages you've identified: 1.Locate and Uncheck Sun Update Manager Bootstrapper (root) 2.Locate and Uncheck Sun Update Manager Bootstrapper 3.Locate and Uncheck SW Update Manager 4.Locate and Uncheck Patch Manager Software 5.Locate and Uncheck Basic Registration
