[Yes, I searched and read the archives] When I start the installer (new), to my surprise it doesn't find any hard drive (there is only one, a WD 250 Sata). Knoppix found it, so did XP. I have the OnBoard SATA-IDE enabled.
No, I don't want RAID or stuff. Just plain install. The BIOS recognises it as well, automatically (displays as potential BOOT DEVICE in the BIOS). It shows as 'Serial_Ch0 Master WDC WD2500JS-00S SATA 232.88 Hdd'.
