Hi Maurice, Thanks for the link, this is basically the same action I had take to replicate as a mirror. AVS is not attaching to the ZFS pool, but to the /dev/rdsk/c***. Although this is a slick way of finding all the disks in the pool. I can see why you could get confused, the author named the AVS group the same as the zfs pool.
By tunneling though iscsi, you don't have to replicate all those drives. I didn't measure the performance impact if iscsi vs the impact of synchronous replication. Second, if you want to use files as a pool AVS cannot be used.
