Hi, Lars,
It sounds like some software on win7 side filters/blocks normal traffic to
opensolaris, check firewall/antivirus settings.
Just assumption...

Subject: [osol-help] Login to OS server dont work well

Hi,

I have a server with OpenSolaris that I am trying to access from a bunch of
Windows 7 computers.
I have tried different builds of OS but the problem remains, I am now
running b133.

I an trying to connect over cifs (smbshare zfs file system) and I get no
good result.

>From one computer with win7 it works, but not satisfying.
First when I get the login screen on my win computer to the server, the
server wont accept my password, it takes about a minute for the server to
"wake" up and realise that it is the right password. And the server is not
in sleep mode or anything like that.

>From other computers, running win7 with the same settings, the servers is
found on the network but it is impossible to access it, I do not even get a
login screen so it cannot be wrong with my permissions. It just says that it
is something wrong with the connection to the server, but I can reach it
from the other computer and they are on the same router.

Any tips on what I should do?
