The position of the buttons can be easily move by changing line 87 of panel_notification.xml. Orginal : follows="left|right|bottom" Top placement : follows="left|right|top" <- this should move the buttons to the top of the layout but also might have to move lines 85-99 to the top of the xml file as well plus modify the other sections accordingly.
