ben> Are there SSH client/servers built on SSLeay/OpenSSL? Where?

Yup. There's a SSH client for PalmIII called Top Gun SSH
(http://www.isaac.cs.berkeley.edu/pilot/), a VMS port that a friend
and I did (http://www.free.lp.se/fish/, now contains a bunch of
enhancements), and an SSH server for VMS. And there are probably a
few more. It also seems like Kerberos IV or V has been built using
libcrypto, since I fond some references to Kerberos in the source.

I dunno about the rest of the world, but it seems like a lot of
hackers in Sweden do use the crypto routines from SSLeay (or possibly
OpenSSL, already).
