Actually, I've built 0.9.5a with BC++ 5.5 going by the info in
README.win32: 5.5's make is good enough and dmake is not needed.
Static library, not DLL, though.
Release/debug DLL configs will be nice. Maybe standardise the
calling convention (cdecl, fastcall, etc., whatever these are), too.

Yes, but please do keep "converting it to perl" optional. I don't
have a problem with Perl on Unix, but on Windows I have to source for an
installation. (No, I don't use ActiveState's binary installer.)
