We have recently begun a project to investigate
peer-to-peer security. Our current code release
builds on the OpenSSL Toolkit, specifically the crypto
library, and is currently available on SourceForge
(http://www.sourceforge.net/projects/ptptl)

As part of this project, we would like to contribute
back to the OpenSSL project. We are in the process
of developing an optimized Rijndael implementation.
I noticed that the current OpenSSL snapshot contains
the fast reference implementation of Rijndael. What we
would provide would be significantly cleaner, somewhat
faster, and we would also be providing cipher mode
support (maybe including OCB?) and the glue to make it
work with the EVP interface.

Is this code something the OpenSSL project is
interested in and would be willing to take as a
contribution?

Thanks,
Andy
