Hi,
I have not followed the discussion from the beginning, but have you
considered supporting BerkeleyDB ? We have, for our project, two
different modules one supporting SQL DBMS and the other using
BerkeleyDB as backend (one can choose what he likes best for his
own system). I suggest you to fist implement the simplest (for
the user point of view) that, to me, is the BerkeleyDB (or similar,
we use this because it is fast, reliable and os... ) and then
add support for SQL DBMS (more complex to administrate).
If this point have already been discussed, just ignore my mail
and forgive me for the additional noise...
