Yup.  Happens to me all of the time, it seems.  I grab something off
the net, try to configure and build it, the build fails, and then I
ask around and somebody says ``Didn't you read the FAQ dummy??''

OK.  I came.  I saw.  I was perplexed.  (I wish I knew how to say that in
latin.)

The stuff on that web page you directed me to just seems to say ``Get GNU bc''
to which I can only reply ``Well, what does THIS look like??''
