A potential fly in the ointment here is that this article claims that the fix is *only* for https with IE. I thought that your (and my) problem was with IMAPS and Outlook. If it works or not, do pls report back to reduce the number of dead ends being chased.
This fix is clearly not being distributed as a high priority, my machine is one month old, from IBM and still has an older version than the one in the article (Dec 19). Personally, I think that a few IT journals should take this up as a good example of the relative responsiveness of closed vs open software production ;-0 (NIST, for example includes Availability as a key security dimension). tc > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] On Behalf Of pdontthink > Sent: 10 August 2002 02:33 > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Subject: Re: selfsigned certificate > > > Whew!
