And while you are touching this part anyway, don't forget to add OPENSSL_config(NULL) before OpenSSL_add_all_algorithms. Just in case user wants to configure something, i.e. use hardware implementation of some algorithms. Of course it is better to allow user specify name of configuration file via some command line option and pass it to OPENSSL_config. But NULL would suffice.
