Well, uh, how about Jazz hands?  Open, waving hands are pretty universally 
friendly and it would look more like a dancing bear which brings the music 
aspect bac a bit.

On the other hand, the palm-forward version has no offensive meanings that I 
can see (the offensive version is palm-backwards).

I like the proposed logo v3.0, but I could get behind a version 3.1 in which 
the bear was flashing a peace/victory sign.
