Last time I tried to compile the tree, it simply failed to compile
without that hunk.

Phew, I'm not incredibly happy with that code either. It doesn't
implement PCIe and seems to happily violate layerings, such as mixing dt
and device code.

Either way, I've replied to the last patch submission and will keep
working on my own PCIe implementation in parallel. Let's see what gets
done first ;).
