Sorry I meant HDMI in my previous post, not DPMI. Connecting a DVI monitor with a HDMI-DVI cable to the cubieboard gets the HDMI output activated as expected.
With an HDMI/VGA adapter the monitor stays dark after powerup. Monitor output is as expected when rebooting without cutting power. I don't have an HDMI monitor to test but expect it just works.
