When trying to scan with Kooka (as of the current beta version), the program
complains that there is allegedly no Sane present. Wrong!
Trying to remove and re-add the scanner with Yast2, I get the following error
message:
"Failed to reset SCSI scanner access permissions. The error message is: Der
Dienst sane-dev existiert nicht" ("the service sane-dev does not exist").
Scanner is HP All in One via hpaio.
Looks a bit like some resmgr/PolicyHit problem - output of y2log:
