I was going to suggest something like this video, Start with the standard logos from other distros (may require their permissions), then lay the OpenSUSE chameleon partly over the logo changing color to match...
To me, that would be simple to do, 'way cool and eye catching particularly for those who recognize the other distro logo! (Isn't that really who the OBS logo is targeting?)
