tried on a T42p and it is not working right now. When I install the
original file from ati it works fine. Get nearly 2000 Frames per Second
with the driver installed properly on my T42p (compared to standard 312
FPS).

This one works (tested on SLICK 20051003) workstation white box. Not
yet on clean install can anyone confirm or deny that this works?

Will reinstall on Dualhead NVIDIA system otherwise tomorrow and
hopefully verify on clean installed current in apt fglrx SUPER.1.rpm.

konsole --> glxgears 6000 FPS

Very slick stuff :D

SUSE is so much fun! And so fast, faster then Yoper ever was. I don't
want to say more as there is an established Yoper community I do not
want to offend. The apps start very fast ... benchmarks to follow in my
next thread.

My current work system is my Dualhead NVIDIA Athlon XP upgraded once,
the day I started Yoper). I want to reinstall on XFS since Online Defrag
is a killer app from an OS perspective. It just does stays at faster to
install speed due to nvidia binary driver option. No need to go though
wizards ... saves time on Open Source software. It runs and runs and
runs.

Thankfully in New Zealand it is possible to establish certified
identity as professionally possible and establish Open Source Software
due to our amazing interesting Copyright law.

For example I could ship the Captive NTFS read/write driver. For as
long as it would read the data of the proprietary drivers on the C:
Drive into RAM from a read mountable hda1 or other device containing the
binary DLL from M$. That is all very legal in NZ. The GPL protects the
individual freedom of speech to defeat crackers and other bugs or
Dictators. Personally I read the www.opensource.org principles that way.
Complete freedom and impunity of expression, since only that will
prevent any form of Dictatorship, IMHO.

Good night and ...

happy SUSEing ;)
