The thing about prelinking is that it actually feels snappier. Not
something a benchmark done by myself shows as pressing "date >>file"  is
slower than what "snappy" actually means.


My experience is that it does matter, even though it is purely
subjective .... :D ... and even though experts say different. But then
again, some would think that crafting an artwork is subjective too 
.....

Dunno what to say, apart from try it before and after and it just feels
snappier, IMHO ... 

It is currently in SLICK. If you have tried SLICK you should have 
noticed that it does do a prelink after install at the sysconfig stage.

Should I take it out?
