I have Mandrake 10.1 on an Thinkpad A30P and the win modem is recognized. Being smart I set up a second HD for the above Thinkpad but substituted commercial SuSE 10.1 which supposedly includes the same win modem which for some reason is not recognized even when I manually install the win modem program.
