'hey-- I can remember back in my *very* early days with IBM---late '70s---we used to punch our field service codes into a black box the size of a brick... in fact we called it "the brick". Anyway, once per day I would strap that "brick" to the receiver of any available phone handset and it would transmit my daily records at 300baud --- I can still hear that thing in my nightmares. On a happier note... I don't report *anything* to IBM anymore... at any baud rate... for any reason... EVER! aaaaah.
