Edit the config file (/etc/X11/xorg.conf) and set it as in 9.0. For
instance:
Section "InputDevice"
Identifier "Mouse[1]"
Driver "mouse"
Option "Buttons" "5"
Option "Device" "/dev/input/mice"
Option "Name" "Autodetection"
Option "Protocol" "explorerps/2"
# previously Option "Protocol" "imps/2"
Option "Vendor" "Sysp"
Option "ZAxisMapping" "4 5"
EndSection
(That's a logitech trackball on ps2 port)
