Ah, okay. The Release Notes now offer two workarounds for this problem and I'd
be pretty optimistic that an even better solution would be offered for this by
the time 11 rolls around. Although you have to admit, "limited" to 15 partitions
isn't something very many people would run into.

The workaround did not work till RC1, by the way.

As for the better solution to arrive in time, I'm not optimistic, as it has to come from the kernel chaps or nearby.

And as to 15 partitions being enough... depends for whom. With the current size of disks being in the half a tera byte range, that's becoming easier. And for people having several operating systems and / or test partitions, 15 is not enough - more so as it is a regression from the previous 63.
