No, it's quite possible to uninstall KDE and yet still have a fully
working KDE desktop. In this case, all that's happened is that the KDE
_pattern_ has been removed, probably along with any other patterns that
depend on the KDE pattern being present, but not any of the packages
that were installed by those patterns.
